Faculty of Science Learning and Teaching Fellowship

The Learning and Teaching Fellowship provides funding to support effective and sustainable teaching innovation by an individual or team. The Fellowship provides access to $1000 for teaching development and $2500 for 3 years for teaching leadership and development activities.

University Teaching Grants

The following resources provide useful information on grants available to teaching staff. Teaching staff are encouraged to reflect on their activities and to communicate good practice by participating in award schemes at university, state and national levels. The Learning and Teaching Committee are available to give feedback and advice on applications.

Teaching Improvement Grant Scheme
The Teaching Improvement Grant Scheme is comprised of two forms of grant. A Small Teaching Improvement and Equipment (TIES) Grants Scheme for applications $10,000 and under and a Teaching Improvement Projects (TIPS) Grants Scheme for applications over $10,000 and up to $50,000. (Note that this scheme is not running in 2013).

Scholarship Index

The Scholarship Index provides financial rewards to departments whose staff members contribute to teaching quality through the scholarship of university teaching.

The Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT), offer various grants and fellowships.
