TAAcT Reviewed and Revisited

Suzanne Hogg
Department of Applied Physics, University of Technology, Sydney

Abstract

The original quiz "shell" designed by Suzanne Hogg and presented at OzCUPE1 has now become of age, with application from foundation and first year physics to final year quantum physics. The shell has been successfully used by physics student programmers to extend the content material covered from physics to areas of Health Science. Scanning devices make it possible more easily to include good quality images as well as movies and sound to the material to be tested or otherwise studied.

The author will discuss the cross platform implementation of TAAcT as a supplementary teaching tool in the senior physics area, with students able to download a small executor file and run the modules from home, emailing test files back to the administrator if they are undertaking the work as a testing device.
