This QuickTime VR Panoramic movie shows Mt Saddleback, west of Kiama. Saddleback is believed to be the plug of an old volcano, however it is not the source of the flows of volcanic rock observed around Kiama. It may be responsible for some of the younger dykes which have intruded the older flows.
You can explore the area by clicking on the image and dragging the mouse in any direction. You can also zoom in using the 'shift' key and out using the 'control' key on your keyboard. Alternatively you can use the controls on the panel. In order to display the QTVR panorama on your Browser, you will need to
install the QuickTime plug-in v1.1 (or greater) and follow these instructions.
