Admission requirements for international students

Applicants for the Graduate Diploma and Master of Science in Wildlife Health and Population Management should hold an undergraduate degree in science, veterinary science, or other relevant field.

Master of Science in Wildlife Health and Population Management

International applicants for the Master of Science in Wildlife Health and Population Management must have:

Academic requirements English language requirements
  • a Bachelor's degree or completion of the Graduate Dipoma in Wildlife Health & Population Management at credit level or higher for acceptance into the Resarch Project.
  • To apply to the Masters course with the Research Projects (WILD5009) you must first complete at least 4 units of study in, and have a credit average or better in the Wildlife Health and Population Management Program.
  • IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.0; OR
  • IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22

Graduate Diploma in Wildlife Health and Population Management

International applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Wildlife Health and Population Management must have:

  • a Bachelor's degree in relevant area and/or appropriate experience
  • IELTS: overall band score of 6.5 or better with no band below 6.0; OR
  • IBT: overall score of 90 with a writing section minimum of 23, and no other band below 22
