Lis Bergmann

Lis Bergmann was a secondary English and History teacher for 12 years, in both the public and the Catholic sector, including a stint at Dunedoo.

Lis then moved into the tertiary education sector, working in the Secretariat at the Sydney College of Advanced Education, including servicing its governing body, until the College ceased to exist under the Dawkins reforms and its parts were divided up among the metropolitan universities (Nursing and Teachers College came here).

She took up the position of Executive Officer to Senate in October 1989.
