Academic Board nominees

The University's recruitment and promotions policies call for the active involvement of the Academic Board in both the recruitment and promotion of academic staff.

To undertake this responsibility, the Academic Board draws upon a pool of nominees from the University's academic staff to participate on committees for academic appointments and to consider applications for promotion.

The Academic Board Nominee (ABN) represents the Academic Board in ensuring that recruitment and promotion processes are conducted according to University policy and procedures, and to ensure that applications are evaluated against the selection criteria for a role according to the highest academic standards.

Further information about the role and responsibilities of the Academic Board Nominee is available in the information pack, available here.
