Honorary awards
The University Secretariat carries out the following functions in relation to honorary awards of the University:
- arranges the annual call for nominations
- services Senate's Nominations and Appointments Committee
- liaises with recipients, the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Deans and the Graduations office to arrange conferring ceremonies
- arranges for citations to be prepared
- maintains information online with respect to:
- the Nominations and Appointments Committee
- honorary awards
- names and ceremonies for this year's recipients
- names and dates of all honorary awards recipients
- citations for honorary awards recipients
- photo gallery
- historical information
