A Farewell to University of Sydney Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Gavin Brown AO FAA CorrFRSE was held on 20 June 2008, comprising a Farewell Ceremony and Address at 6.00pm in the Great Hall, and a Cocktail Reception at 7.00pm in MacLaurin Hall, Quadrangle.
