Chirine was a candidate for the degree of Master of Public Policy, Faculty of Arts, at the University of Sydney.
She held a Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences, with specialised majors in macro-economics and government/international relations.
Chirine had 4 years experience in the finance industry, and was a Policy Analyst in the Education and Training Branch of the NSW Department of Treasury – where she had a keen interest in the area of sustainable public education policies and practices.
Chirine was Treasurer of a University of Sydney Union Society and was awarded the Australian Lebanese Foundation’s undergraduate scholarship and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s Jackson scholarship for three consecutive years.
