Fellow of Senate and Pro Chancellor Mr Alec Brennan AM has been appointed a Member in the Order of Australia in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours for significant service to business and commerce, to tertiary education administration, and to the community.

Former Fellow of Senate Professor Simon Chapman has been appointed an Officer in the Order of Australia in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours for distinguished service to medical research as an academic and author, particularly in the area of public health policy, and to the community.
