Dr Arthur Capell

The honorary degree of Doctor of Letters was conferred upon Dr Arthur Capell, MA Sydney PhD Lond., at a conferring of degrees ceremony held in 1981.

Dr Capell was formerly Reader in Oceanic Languages (1948-1967) in the Faculty of Arts.
