Sir John Grenfell (Jack) Crawford CBE

The degree of Doctor of Science in Economics (honoris causa) was conferred upon Sir John Crawford CBE, MEc HonDSc Newcastle HonDEc UNE, Director, Research School of Pacific Studies and Professor of Economics, Australian National University 1960-67 and Vice-Chancellor of the Australian National University from 1968, on 3 June 1972.
