Honorary awards

(Alice) Madge Dawson

At a conferring of degrees ceremony held in 1989, the honorary degree of Master of Arts was conferred upon (Alice) Madge Dawson.

Mrs Dawson was a lecturer then senior lecturer in adult education at the University between 1956 and 1973 when she retired, and continued as a part-time lecturer following her retirement.
