Honorary awards

Professor Henry Harris

At a conferring of degrees ceremony held in the Great Hall on 25 August 1983, during the centenary celebrations of the Medical School, the honorary degree of Doctor of Medicine was conferred upon Professor Henry Harris.

Professor Harris, BA MB BS Sydney MA DPhil Oxf, FRCP FRS, was Regius Professor of Medicine, University of Oxford, from 1979.
