Honorary awards

The Honourable Robert Marsden Hope AC CMG QC

The degree of Doctor of Laws (honoris causa) was conferred upon the Hon Robert Marsden Hope AC CMG QC, LLB Sydney HonLLD W'gong, at a conferring of degrees ceremony held at 11am on 4 May 1993. At the same ceremony - for war veterans - he was awarded the first-class LLB he obtained in 1944.

Mr Hope was the Chancellor of Wollongong University and the former Chairman of the NSW Law Reform Commission.
