Honorary awards

Professor Wang Gungwu CBE

The honorary degree of Doctor of Letters was conferred upon Professor Wang Gungwu CBE, MA Mal PhD Lond, FAHA, at a graduation ceremony held in 1993.

Professor Wang was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong and former Professor of Far Eastern History at the Australian National University.
