• Challis and McCaughey Chairs when there is no professor in the relevant discipline.
• a University Chair

Level E promotions

• Promotion to Level E
• Out of round promotion to Level E

Level E academic titles

• Adjunct Professor, Clinical Professor, Conjoint Professor, Visiting Professor
• Titles of Bosch, Challis, Kellion, McCaughey and Peter Nicol Russell Chairs

Title of Emeritus Professor for retiring professors
