• Chancellor:

• Delegations of Authority:
  – Senate approved amendments relating to Honorary Title Procedures to the University of Sydney (Delegations of Authority – Administrative Functions) Rule 2010 (as amended), with effect from 8 February 2013.

• Faculty of of Arts and Social Sciences:
  – Senate endorsed the Academic Board’s approval of the proposal from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences to make major amendments to the Master of Media Practice, Graduate Diploma in Media Practice and Graduate Certificate in Media Practice; and approved the amendment of the Resolutions of Senate related to the Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, with effect from 1 January 2015.
• Faculties: Minor Course Amendments:
  — Senate endorsed the Academic Board’s approval of a range of minor amendments to existing courses, with effect from 1 January 2013.

• Mr John Mackinolty:
  — Senate noted with sorrow the death of former Fellow of Senate Mr John Mackinolty and resolved to extend its condolences to Mr Mackinolty’s family.

• Dr Michael Spence:
  – Senate noted with sorrow the death of the Reverend Beth Spence on 22 December 2012 and extended its condolences to Dr Michael Spence and his family.
