Jubilee celebrations 1902
Notification of the Jubilee celebrations
The notification of the Jubilee celebrations was sent to the various universities and learned institutions throughout the civilised world, although it was hardly expected that the universities of Europe and America would send representatives to Australia for the special purpose of attending the Celebration.
The notification was in the following terms:

H. N. MacLaurin, Cancellarius.
A. Renwick, Vice-Cancellarius.
H. E. Barff, Registrarius.
Dabamus Sydneiae X die Februarii, MDCCCCII.
The members of the governing bodies of the Australasian Universities, as well as the professors, lecturers and other high officials, were individually invited to attend.
