Fellows of Senate

Thomas (Tom) Kavanagh

Mr Tom Kavanagh was the Fellow of Senate elected by and from the postgraduate students of the Univerity of Sydney for one year from 1 December 2008 to 30 November 2009.

He was an ex-officio member of the Senate/Sports Liaison Committee and the Senate/Student Associations Liaison Committee.

  • The O Week Breakfast for student leaders

BSc(Advanced Mathematics) Sydney
Fellow of Senate, 1 December 2008 -

Tom completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) in 2007, and is a candidate for the Master of Teaching (Secondary) degree in the Faculty of Education and Social Work, currently in Year II.

Tom was elected to the University of Sydney Union Board in 2006, serving as Treasurer and Chair of Clubs and Societies. He was a member of the SRC Executive in 2006, on the Senate/Student Organisations Liaison Committee as a USU representative (2007) and on the Student Appeals Panel (2007-November 2008).
