Secretaries to Senate
Gallery
In general, the role of Secretary to Senate has historically been part of the position of Registrar of the University of Sydney. However, in 2008, a separate position of Secretary to Senate was created and the position of Registrar, with its modified responsibilities, was incorporated into the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education).
This website is a gallery of photos of the current Secretary to Senate and the previous Registrars, all of whose duties included being Secretary to Senate.

Dr Richard Greenup was Secretary to Senate and Registrar from 1851 to 1852.

Henry Ebenezer Barff CMG
Henry Ebenezer Barff was Registrar from 1882 to 1893, Registrar and Librarian from 1893 to 1914 and Warden and Registrar from 1914 to 1924.
