Students at the University of Sydney
Orientation Week
It was in March 1946 that Senate and the SRC embarked on their first joint Orientation Week to provide for new students ('freshers').
O Week is still held annually in March before semester 1 commences, although these days O Week lasts for 3 rather than 5 days, is for all students not just new ones and is organised by the University of Sydney Union.
