The SEG Research Training Committee provides expert information, advice and recommendations to SEG about matters of strategy, operational policy and management relevant to the University’s Research Training activities. The scope of the Committee’s responsibilities is being determined in consultation with the Academic Board and its Research and Research Training Committee.
Membership of the Committee comprises the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) as Chair, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), a representative of the Academic Board, a representative of the Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association (SUPRA), and typically the Associate Dean (Research Training) or equivalent from each of the University’s 16 faculties.
