University events and student performances

University of Sydney

As part of the University of Sydney, the Seymour Centre hosts a range of productions and events each year in partnership with University groups, departments and faculties:

Sydney Ideas presents lectures, talks and debates with leading thinkers from Australia and around the world.

University performance groups such as MUSE, SUDS and SUMS regularly present their major productions at the Seymour.

Each year the Seymour hosts up to six-weeks of the best student revues, representing all major faculties from the University. Student involvement in each revue can number over 100.

Students from the Department of Performance Studies advance their studies through participation in internships and rehearsal observation at the Centre.

The Seymour offers discounts to shows through our Student Rush Scheme and University of Sydney Access Card holders receive off all drinks and food at the Seymour Bar (with the exception of the Seymour BBQ).

If your student/staff group would like to perform at the Seymour email .
