Synchonicity

Chronology Arts presents
Synchronicity features the first installment of a collaboration between DirtyFeet and Chronology Arts – bringing composers and choreographers together in new collaborations.
Choreographer Martin del Amo (Anatomy of an Afternoon, 2012 Sydney Festival) and composer Alex Pozniak (winner of the 2011 APRA Professional Development Award) have created Quest, a solo dance piece performed by Miranda Wheen (Shaun Parker's Happy as Larry). Quest explores the conditions of a space and the body negotiating that space in a quest for unveiling new possibilities.
The program also includes new and recent, acoustic and electroacoustic music by Cyrus Meurant, Andrew Batt-Rawden and Daniel Rojas featuring the Chronology Arts Ensemble - Jacob Abela (piano), Jane Duncan (flute), Andrew Smith (saxophone), Luke Spicer (viola), Emma Hunt (clarinet) and Anthony Albrecht (cello).
Chronology Arts is a resident company at the Seymour Centre.
