Panama is a collective of hand-selected local Sydney artists who create unforgettable '80s sun-drenched indie pop - perfect for a February evening.

MA

MA is singer Victoria White and composer Drew Crawford, a Sydney pop duo described as "Bjork meets Hall & Oates". Victoria’s voice is her signature whilst Drew’s music is timeless and beautifully crafted. Together they make you believe in pop all over again - it's music that loves you back!

The Sculptures

Hailing from Sydney’s brooding Inner West, The Sculptures have been lighting up stages and winning fans with their uniquely vibrant pop-rock sound influenced by the feel of new-wave, the raw power of punk and the stylish excess of 80s rock.

Sures hit surf pop like a hammer to a nail with winding reverb, percussion and simple bass tided in with tight harmonies drfting over the top. It's sun-drenched and dreamy, they just have a killer vibe!

From the bustling streets of inner city Sydney come Young Romantics, a new wave band with determined independence. These indie heart throbs will get you bouncing with their bopping bass lines and creative leads guitar riffs.

Jenny Broke The Window

Over the past 18 months the boys from Jenny Broke The Window have developed a unique blend of pop which Deaf Ambitions described as "Catchy as all hell and subtly brilliant". The band's EP was recently added for rotation on FBI Radio Sydney (94.5fm) and Melbourne's TripleR Radio.

Bellyache Ben and the Steamgrass Boys

The Steamgrass Boys deliver high octane bluegrass picking powerful enough to strip the paint of a '69 chevy. Featuring the high lonesome sound of Bellyache Ben, spinning tales of hard livin', sour women and banjos ringin', Bellyache Ben and the Steamgrass boys will have you singin', dancin' and havin' an all round good time.

Evil J and Saint Cecilia

The smouldering and experimental duo Evil J and Saint Cecilia play a blend of pop / country fusion that layers gothic harmonies over drum loops. Combining their voices into fluid soaring harmonies over bass and distorted guitar, they create soothing, spirit-lifting sounds.

Two Timin’ Playboys (feat. Pat Capocci)

The Two Timin' Playboys are renowned rockabilly artist Pat Capocci and fellow band member Damian Lawson. Expect Western Swing and Jazz standards with the odd blues or country tune thrown in for good measure. These boys are a great party starter with an effortlessly energetic music style that will have you slapping your knees in no time.

Lady Sings it Better

Five women take on the greatest male musicians of our time and reinvent them as sassy old-school cabaret. The gals will sing classics from Midnight Oil, Michael Jackson, AC/DC, The Beatles, Nine Inch Nails, Leonard Cohen, Queen and the Rolling Stones like you’ve never heard them before.

Dyan Tai

This Malaysian born singer, songwriter and performer is infamous for his sparkly keytar, arm piercings and 7 inch quiff. Winner of the inaugural Sydneyvision Song Contest in 2010, Dyan has gone on to perform his unique style of electronic/Synthpop (with the occasional R&B belting) all over Sydney.
