Sound One presents DEVIL ROCK – an absolutely stellar line up of afternoon entertainment in support of the endangered Tasmanian Devil. Featuring The Delltones, Jon English, Jonah’s Road, and a special one hour performance by the amazing cast of The Rock Show!
- The Fabulous Multi Award winning Delltones, entertaining and energizing fans with their highly polished DooWop harmonies and the unique voice of PEEWEE WILSON. The Delltones are still rocking more than 50 years on.
- Save the Tasmanian Devil Program Appeal ambassador and Aussie rock icon, Jon English, spearheads Devil Rock. Undoubtedly one of Australia’s most successful, loved, and enduring recording and performing artists.
- Jonah’s Road. The amazing harmonies and upbeat songwriting of this country pop trio has earned them a legion of fans all over the country. With a recent number one hit under their belt, highlights for Jonah’s Road this year will include the prestigious support role for US country superstar Tim McGraw.
- The Rock Show. Jon English heads an astounding troupe of nine young multi-instrumentalist singers in a tribute to the 60s and 70s Rock Generation that has taken the country by storm.
Funds raised from the Devil Rock concert will go to the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal, and to the University of Sydney’s Veterinary Science Foundation for their continuing research into the genetics of the Tasmanian devil and its cancer.
