Short+Sweet Sydney 2012 Gala Finals

The Short+Sweet Sydney Gala Finals are the top 12 plays from our 2012 season.

Each week of the festival we showcase 10 exciting new plays never before seen in Sydney. There’s something for everyone, with a wide range of styles, genres and subject matter being tackled at every show. One play from each week as selected by our Judges is invited to the Gala Finals, alongside the winner of our popular Wildcards program and the overall People’s Choice Winner of the festival.

In 2012 the festival will present 180 brand new 10 minute plays from January to March. With over 300 writers and directors and close to 500 actors involved, Short+Sweet Sydney truly is the biggest little play festival in the world!

Held annually in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Singapore, Auckland, Kuala Lumpur, India and in regional locations across Australia, Short+Sweet has provided a professional platform and springboard for countless artists around the world.
