Secondary Program

Hamlet

The Seymour's 2012 secondary education program is packed with engaging productions for young people, spanning a wide range of curriculum links. To mark National Reconciliation Week 2012, The Pinjarra Project, Deckchair Theatre and Seymour Centre present Bindjareb Pinjarra, a brilliant improvised comedy about WA’s Pinjarra Massacre. We also present a new play from the writer of Silent Disco, based on fact, Truck Stop was developed with senior students in Penrith and Mt Druitt. The Seymour Centre in association with renowned theatre company Sport for Jove present Hamlet (pictured), an inspiring and passionate new production. Students can also engage further by participating in Sport for Joves’ HSC Intensive Symposiums. Students get the chance to watch performances by their peers during OnSTAGE and the NSW State Drama and Dance festivals.
