PARTY

12-17 JAN
The Invisible Dot (UK)
Part of Sydney Festival's About An Hour
From a humble garden shed in deepest suburbia, a group of young idealists form a new political party to save the world from itself.
Winner of a 2009 Fringe First Award, Party is a new comic play about small minds tackling big issues – China, sex trafficking, cycle lanes, unfair trade coffee and when, exactly, they should break for cake.
Writer Tom Basden (Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Newcomer 2007) is joined by a cast of bold and imaginative comics: Anna Crilly (British Comedy Awards Best Newcomer Nominee 2008); Tim Key (Best Show Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2009); Katy Wix (Extras) and Jonny Sweet (Best Newcomer Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2009). Directed by 2008 and 2009 Fringe First winner, Phillip Breen.
