A symposium focusing on biomedical imaging and tissue engineering was held at the Shanghai Expo, discussing innovations in biomedical engineering which will help in the fight against some of the world's most feared diseases. The symposium was organised by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, and focused on the cutting edge of biomedical research where the fields of medicine, engineering and IT collide. Read article here

Business experts from Australia and China made their way through the crowds at the Shanghai Expo on Monday to share their ideas on reform and innovation at the second University of Sydney symposium. The event, organised by the Faculty of Economics and Business, brought together faculty staff, research partners from Chinese universities, and representatives from some of the leading corporate heavyweights in China.
