2011 Grant recipients

The Social Inclusion Unit is pleased to announce the successful applicants for the Widening Participation Grants 2011. Grants were awarded in three categories:

  1. Community Engagement Grants for social inclusion partnerships
    These grants support faculties or divisions to engage in partnership activities with schools or communities aimed at widening participation.
  2. Inclusive Curriculum Renewal Grants
    These grants support implementation and integration of inclusive teaching strategies into curricula and teaching, especially in first-year units.
  3. Research on inclusion/exclusion
    These grants support research of three types: research on inclusion that relates to pathways to higher education, research on inclusion that relates to higher education teaching and curriculum, and evaluation research on widening participation strategies.
