General Staff Agreement

The General Staff Agreement applies to general staff at the University except those in senior management roles (see clause Part A 5.2 of the agreement for details).

This agreement includes clauses that cover:

  • anti –discrimination
  • employment categories
  • classifications
  • salaries and allowances

The agreement also outlines hours of work and related matters, public holidays and leave, performance management and development, managing change, redeployment and redundancy, termination on grounds of ill health, cessation of employment and consultation and dispute resolution.
