The University’s Mathematics Learning Centre offers bridging courses, individual assistance and group tutorials for undergraduate students who need to improve their numeracy skills. While there are fees for bridging courses, other support is free to all eligible students.
This support is especially suitable for students in first year who may lack confidence or appropriate assumed knowledge. It is helpful not only for those undertaking or preparing for mathematics and statistics units, but also units in a wide range of subject areas including psychology, public health, business, economics and other social sciences.
The Business School’s Learning and Teaching site provides Maths Resources such as maths quizzes for practicing skills, and maths help-sheets for a variety of mathematical applications.
