About the Marketing and Communications Division
The Marketing and Communications Division works to optimise the University’s brand, promote the University’s strategic objectives and build a sense of belonging to an inspirational community.
The Division manages and develops the overall institutional brand and is responsible for communication of strategic institutional messages, both internally and externally, through campaign management, public relations, and production of communication materials. Our work is inspired and informed by six values to help the University achieve its strategic goals.
We provide service and leadership in the following areas:
- Brand management
- Media relations and PR
- Staff communications
- Student communications
- Corporate communications
- Graphic design
- Editorial services
- University website management and development.
We manage the University Marketing Forum, which takes place every two months and is open to all marketing and communications staff at the University. We also run a blog called Style Matters, where we write about the work we do, new developments in the technologies we use and much more.
Most of our team is based in the Services Building on the Darlington side of the campus.
