Web services
There are lots of things to think about when building or writing for a website: the way your website is structured, its tone of voice, the length of your paragraphs, the sorts of keywords you use to describe your website, and much more.
We talk about a lot of these things in our best practice section, and on our Style matters blog, which is written by developers, editors, designers and other members of the Marketing and Communications Division.
Webmasters and other staff members using the University's Content Management System (CMS) will find our guide to the University Standard Web Template useful. The guide includes tools to help you build splashpages, splashpods, spotlights and feature links for your website. If you want to know more about CMS training, which is free and available to all staff, visit the ICT training website.
