Facilities and room bookings
- Room bookings: University Venues allocates many teaching rooms within the University. Staff can examine venue details, see which rooms are available at a given time, make requests for semester and casual bookings and view the timetable of bookings for venues.
University Venues also look after venue hire for external events. - Campus Assist Online (UniKey login needed) allows staff to make and review requests for maintenance work. More information
Finance
- Hyperion: The Hyperion business performance management system is used by the University to meet its financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Peoplesoft financials is used by the University to meet its transaction processing needs. It is comprised of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing, Asset Management, General Ledger and Purchasing modules.
- Spendvision is used for:
- University corporate card acquittals and authorisation
- online travel requisitions, all travel expense claims and approvals. - Travel: Access all travel information in one place, including planning and booking your trip.
FlexSIS
Human Resources
Human Resources provide a range of services to support the staff of the University including:
- myHRonline: A secure site for checking and updating your personnel details, checking your leave balance and seeing payroll information.
- Careers at Sydney: Information about working at the University. Includes a database of all positions currently available within the University.
- CareerPath: Your personalised web portal, letting you sign up for career development training, management and planning.
- Human Resources forms: For applying for leave, casual pay claims, overtime claims, staff recruitment and selection and more.
- OrgPlus: Use OrgPlus to create organisation charts and view the organisational structure of the University.
Information technology and communication
- Ask Sydney ICT: Help for all services provided by Information Communications and Technology.
- Central web email (Requires your UniKey login): The University provides all members of the University with a central email account, accessed through your UniKey login.
- Exchange web email: The University provides a service that allows Exchange users to access their e-mail, calendar, contacts, and tasks over the Internet.
- Content Management System (CMS)
- Blogs: Read staff blogs or sign up for one of your own.
- Movable Type: Log in to edit your blog.
- Telephone help: A simple guide to the most common phone functions and contact details for assistance.
- Email lists: There are a number of centrally run, University-wide e-mail lists for staff to do their work more effectively.
Library
The University of Sydney Library is a network of libraries across all campuses available to staff, students and members of the public.

Research Management
- Manage Grants: Access information about grant applications using the Research Information Management System (RIMS), from the time of submission to the Research Grants Administration and Funding to award notification and on to research project completion.
- Manage Research Outputs: Submit and manage information on research outputs to the publications component of Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC).

Sale of University equipment
- Item disposal: Sell items by completing the online form (available only to internal staff of the university by logging in with your UniKey)
- Browse University equipment for sale and make a bid on surplus computer equipment, furniture, office equipment and specialist equipment on the online auction site.

- Sellers quick guide: Easy instructions for university departments to dispose of assets online based on the University FAM Asset Disposal procedure.
Student administration
All students in a centrally timetabled unit of study receive a personalised timetable via MyUni (student-only access via UniKey). An example timetable can be found here. Visit the Timetable Unit website to view and edit unit of study timetables and to find out more about related online resources.

A new student management system that provides students with a simplified, seamless relationship with the University from first enquiry through to alumni engagement, and provide staff with improved support to make clear decisions, reduce risks and spend more time on valuable activities.
