Special entry pathways

If you are concerned that your ATAR may not be sufficient for admission, there are a number of entry schemes that can help you gain entry to your chosen course.

Flexible Entry

What is it?
We recognise that your ATAR is not always the most appropriate measure of your potential to succeed in a certain degree so Flexible Entry looks at the ‘whole you’. We may look at your results in relevant year 12 subjects, or ask you to present a portfolio or come for an interview.

Who is it for?
You, if your ATAR is up to five points below the cut-off for some courses.

How do you apply?
Some courses assess you automatically, while others require an application separate to the UAC process. Our Flexible Entry Pathways website tells you what the application process is for your specific course/s.

More information:
If you want more information about Flexible Entry, visit our Flexible Entry Pathways website or read more detailed information.
