The Strategic Plan 2011–2015 was developed following a wide-ranging consultation process that included three main stages.

  1. An initial consultation phase involved staff and student surveys, open workshops for all staff, and discussions with alumni groups, donors, community leaders and government.
  2. A Green Paper, outlined the external and internal challenges that we face in maintaining our current position, outlined preliminary thinking about our future strategy, and invited further discussion. The University received a considerable amount of feedback on the Green Paper, including more than 300 individual and group responses.
  3. A White Paper, published in August 2010, provided context and commentary about our Strategic Plan 2011–2015 and how we propose to meet future challenges.
