Graduation ceremony schedule and live streams

If you finish your degree in Semester 1, you will usually graduate at a ceremony between October and December (except for Faculty of Pharmacy students, who will graduate the following year).

If you finish in Semester 2, you will usually graduate at a ceremony between March and June in the following year (except Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery students, who will graduate in December).

Eligibility and how to register 

Semester 1 graduates

If you're an international student and have graduated in Semester 1, 2017 (January to June), you were sent an email invitation on 2 June to attend the Shanghai ceremony. 

If you did not recieve the invitation and want to attend, you can register your interest by 11pm, Sunday 25 June. 

Semester 2 graduates

If you're an international student and expect to graduate in Semester 2, 2017 (July to October), you will receive two invitations; one to attend a ceremony in Sydney and one for the ceremony in Shanghai.

  1. We will email your Sydney ceremony invitation three to four weeks before the ceremony.
    You need to reply to this invitation to either confirm your attendance or decline the invitation and graduate in absentia.  
  2. We will email your Shanghai ceremony invitation in early September 2017.
    If you want to attend, you need to register your interest. Registration is open from the start of September until Sunday, 1 October.
