All students in the Business School are eligible to attend Maths in Business workshops.
Maths in Business is now closed and will reopen in Semester 1, 2018
Once your registration has been processed successfully, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the details of your session. You can start attending as soon as you receive this email.
You can register for workshops in multiple topics. However, you are only able to register for one workshop within each topic.
Find out about the confidentiality of the information you provide when you register.
If a workshop is full, you can register for the waiting list. We will email you if a place becomes available or if a new workshop is being held, before it’s offered to all students.
When you are placed on a waiting list, we will email you a number which tells you where you are on the list. If you are close to the front of the waiting list (generally between one and five), you have a good chance of gaining a place in the workshop in the near future.
If you miss your regular workshop or if you are on the waiting list, you can attend a workshop as a guest. Make sure you sign the attendance sheet.
Due to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations, we cannot have more than a certain number of students in the room at any one point in time. If the workshop is full, you will need to join a different session.
You can also check to see if more workshops have been added by logging in to the Maths in Business registration.
PowerPoints and materials used during the workshops are available in the Maths in Business Learning Management System (LMS).
For further help on relevant mathematical topics, look at the following maths skills helpsheets.
You can also visit the Mathematics Learning Centre.
Maths in Business greatly values your feedback. Where possible we make changes according to your suggestions.
