The Sydney Summer School was established in 1997 to provide students with the opportunity to study award units of study on a non-compulsory basis.
The School currently offers two programs of study:
- Summer School in January and February
- Winter School in July.
Several programs for Higher School Certificate (HSC), Board of Studies endorsed courses, are also run during Summer School.
Units of study may be developed specifically for The Sydney Summer School as foundation, introductory or preparatory units, subject to approval from the University's Academic Board.
Enrolment is open to any domestic or international, tertiary student, meeting pre-requisites.
