Below is a checklist of requirements for lodging an application for enrolment in Summer or Winter School. Please ensure that all items are provided so that your application can be processed and subsequent enrolment confirmed as quickly as possible:

Current and previous University of Sydney students:

Have you applied online?    
Have you completed the prerequisites?    
If not, have you lodged a special permission request online?    
Is your chosen unit of study associated with your current degree?    
If not, has special permission been sought online?    
If  you are applying to pay with FEE-HELP, have you lodged a Commonwealth Assistance Form either online at the time of application or at the Summer School office (or previously during other enrolment periods)?    
External students (students not currently enrolled at University of Sydney)

Have you applied online?    
Have you uploaded a certified copy of your transcript (and testamur if graduated)?    
If you have not met the prerequisites, have you applied online (at this university) for permission?    
If your first language is not English and/or if your current or previous study is not in English, have you uploaded a copy of your English language qualifications?    

If  you are an Australian citizen applying to pay with FEE-HELP, have you lodged a Commonwealth Assistance Form either online at the time of your application, plus a letter from your university confirming that your Summer School study is part of your current degree, at the Summer School office?

   
Have you checked your Sydney Summer School unit(s) of study will be credited to your degree at your home university and for the correct number of credit points?

Have you sent by express post a covering letter, plus the Scholarship Application form Scholarship form within three days of your online application, outlining your educational circumstances and your reason for studying at Summer School?    
Have you included documentary evidence supporting a claim of financial hardship? For example, bank statement, government benefit statements (Austudy, Youth Allowance).    
Have you included documentary evidence supporting a claim of  long term educational disadvantage? For example, medical certificate(s).
