If you have passed your Summer School or Winter School unit(s) and completed all the academic requirements for your course, you should not assume that you can attend the next or any specific ceremony.

To be eligible to graduate, you will need to receive a completion letter to confirm you have completed the requirements of your course.

You need to have received this letter at least ten weeks before a scheduled ceremony to be eligible to graduate at that ceremony. If you receive late results for example, this may mean you’ll need to attend a graduation ceremony at a later date.

You should not make arrangements for your graduation until your allocation to a specific ceremony has been confirmed.

The University will email you a graduation invitation about three or four weeks before your ceremony. This will be sent to your University student email. You can update your contact details at any time in Sydney Student. Alternatively, you can advise the Student Centre of the details of your new address in writing (Student Centre, Level 3, Jane Foss Russell Building, GO2, University of Sydney NSW 2006).

If you require any further information please contact or phone 02 8627 8223.

You can view the graduation ceremony schedule on the Student website.
