There are over 700 scholarships on offer each year. We need your help to maintain our ability to provide a world class education to talented, underrepresented students.

Alumni scholarships

Our alumni play a critical role in supporting our best scholars. Since 2006, the University has awarded three postgraduate Alumni Scholarships every year, each worth $5000.

These scholarships assist students to pay expenses such as rent, textbooks, transport and food. Your contributions towards the Alumni Scholarships program will be used to support gifted students who are in acute financial need.

International House

International House is a University-owned and operated residential college. It is home to a residential community of more than 200 students from Australia and other countries around the world, and offers a range of scholarships and bursaries to assist students in financial need.

Sports scholarships

The Sporting Scholarship Program provides aid to elite athletes who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend University. Your donations will give these talented young men and women a chance to excel.

The University of Sydney Sport Foundation is structured so that gifts can be directed to support "sport in general" or one of the 44 "specific sporting club" affiliates.
