UK Trust

The University has over 1200 alumni residing in the United Kingdom. The Friends of the University of Sydney UK Trust allows alumni and friends residing in the UK to support the University through tax-advantaged giving. The trust is designed to build even stronger links between Australia and the UK.

Since its establishment, the Friends of the University of Sydney UK Trust have raised over $3.4M in gifts to support the University of Sydney.

Gifts to the trust are tax deductible for UK residents on both income and estate taxes.

Fundraising priorities

The Friends of the University of Sydney UK Trust is currently prioritising fundraising for University of Sydney Merit and Outstanding Achievement Scholarships.

The University of Sydney Merit and Outstanding Achievement Scholarships are designed both to attract the brightest candidates, and reward the most outstanding scholars throughout the University.
