The University of Sydney receives regular cash support from a growing number of alumni and friends. Every donation makes a significant and immediate impact on the ability of the University to promote intellectual discovery and development.

The power of a regular donation when combined with others is undeniable. If each member of the University’s alumni community donated $10 a month to scholarships we would be able to help an additional 4500 financially disadvantaged students each year.

How to donate

To make a donation please start by visiting the ‘Choose an area to support’ section of this site. Here you can learn more about the different areas of the University that you can support.

Once you have selected an area to support you can make your donation in one of four ways:

UK & USA residents

Residents of the United Kingdom and the United States of America may prefer to support the UK Trust and USA Foundation respectively. The UK Trust and USA Foundation provide a tax advantaged way to support intellectual discovery and development at the University of Sydney.

The Sydney Development Fund

The Sydney Development Fund is the primary way you can make a cash donation to the University. The fund helps our faculties, foundations and other units to make regular appeals to alumni and friends by mail, phone and email.
