Make a named gift

The University always seeks to recognise its donors who make a significant impact on the development of the University.

Whether through a bequest, donation or a pledge paid in installments, individuals, families and organisations can be honoured through naming opportunities if they make a principal gift to a scholarship, academic chair or capital project.

Recent named gifts have established:

• the Poche Centre for Indigenous Health. Established within the Faculty of Medicine in 2008, the centre marks the beginning of a strong health partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to promote change and improve health and social justice outcomes. Read more.

• the David and Judith Coffey Chair in Sustainable Agriculture. The new Chair has allowed the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources to begin developing new master's degrees, high profile research training, and new technologies that will ultimately aid our farmers and environment. • the Larry Kwok Australia China Scholarship. Established in 2008 the scholarship aims to promote relations between Australia and China. Recipients are required to attend the prestigious Peking University where they gain a greater understanding of the culture, economy and the politics of China. Read more.
