Telephone Program

The Development Office’s Sydney Development Fund has launched our first telephone fundraising program for the 2012. As part of our telephone program, enthusiastic Sydney students are making contact with many alumni from the University and enjoying conversations about their experiences whilst at Sydney.

With the help of Sydney Talent, we are currently recruiting now for fantastic student callers. We are looking for undergraduate and postgraduate student callers from all faculties and a diverse range of subjects. You will talk to alumni across different faculties about upcoming events and revitalise their affinity with the University. Alumni will also have the opportunity to learn about helping current students by making a gift towards their preferred faculty, Alumni Scholarships, the Student Support Fund or research initiatives.

For more information about our telephone programs, please contact the on +61 2 8627 8818.

The Sydney Development Fund would like to thank all alumni and friends who have shown their support during previous telephone programs. Your gifts are very much appreciated and have a far reaching impact.

Our alumni say…

“I cannot begin to tell you how lovely the young girl was who made contact with me and talked about our university, what I had done since graduating in 1960, the online mentoring program and annual donation. She was charming, a great communicator and listener, thoughtful and enthusiastic and a total pleasure to talk to. Young people like this give me great faith in the future! My sincere good wishes.”

Our callers say…

“The lady I spoke with was absolutely delightful, one of the most inspiring and kind women I have ever spoken to! She was so keen to get involved with the Uni through mentoring as well as donating. Her son attended USyd on an alumni scholarship! She and I chatted about her travels, her music, her career and her family. She really is a lovely person.”
