Teaching Areas

Undergraduate teaching and supervision: Small animal medicine; years III, IV and V of BVSc degree. Supervision of students in year V honours and BSc (vet) honours programs.
Postgraduate teaching: Clinical training of postgraduate interns and residents; Supervision of PhD, Masters and Graduate Diploma students.

Clinical Duties

Provision of specialist referral services in feline medicine at the Valentine Charlton Cat Centre, UVTHS

Research

Clinical research on infectious, neoplastic, genetic and endocrine diseases of cats.
Funding sources include Australian Companion Animal Health Foundation (ACAHF), Feline Health Research Fund (FHRF), Australia

Collaborators include the University of Glasgow, University of Bristol and Colorado State University.
